favorite flatbread: ionian awakening
favorite ottercreek: stovepipe porter
AG founded the team, acts as psuedo-leader and cheerleader. He likes courses that go up for a long time, good coffee, klister skiing, well-designed media, Obama, The Big Lewbowski, free-style rapping, gummy snacks, cats over dogs (live with it), gardening, The NewYorker, bikram yoga, t-shirts of all types, major league baseball, bluegrass music and satire. He coaches the Middlebury College Nordic Ski team and is (luckily) married to Caroline Damon.

Tim Mitchell
age: 29
hometown: Ashland, MA
favorite ottercreek: Cuckoo Bock
Tim brings an infectious energy to the Flatbread crew. One of four ski coaches on this team, Tim leads the Harvard alpine squad in the snowy months, a vocation that speaks to Tim's former life as an alpine racer. That life explains Tim's odd ability to stand on the pedals at max watts for lengthy periods of time (read: days). The novice rider moved from a cat 5 to a 2 last season scoring some impressive wins during his ascent. If Tim were an animal he'd be a bloodhound. His pre-race music mix includes the unlikely HillBilly Deluxe by Brooks and Dunn, which he claims "works." This season will confirm whether or not he's right.

Sabe Davison
age: 23
hometown: Jericho, VT
Sabe comes to FOC from a mountain biking and skiing background. When injury prevented her from continuing to compete on the highly competitive Middlebury College alpine team, Sabe switched to nordic skiing and succeeded there! Currently, Sabe serves as an assistant Nordic ski coach at the Green Mountain Valley School, a ski academy based in Waitsfield, VT. A native of Jericho, Vermont, Sabe has been coached by former pro rider Andy Bishop. Along with sister (and pro mountain biker) Leah, Sabe orchestrates the Little Bellas, an organization dedicated to helping young girls learn how to ride. Sabe started riding only last year, finishing second in her first ever road race, the Tour of Hilltowns in Western Mass. Look for Sabe to continue her successful riding career at road races throughout this season.

Jim Komarmi
age: 29
hometown: Waitsfield, VT
When Jim Komarmi isn't on the bike, he's scouting the next Bode Miller from hordes of young ski racers. Komarmi directs the flex programs at the Green Mountain Valley School in Waitsfield, VT. This year Jim will use the beginning half of the year to rehabilitate a knee injury before returning to form knocking down folks in large bunch sprints.

Damian Bolduc
Age: 31
Goals for the season: To keep the momentum I have coming off last season and
this past winter to get some big results this summer.
Favorite Otter creek beer flavor: Toss up between the Copper Ale and the
Stovepipe Porter
Damian Bolduc has been having fun on bikes since the first time his father let go of the seat and he was two wheeling on my own for real. The quiet Vermonter has slowly worked up the ranks of New England racing by applying his prowess as a runner. He counts Clutch as his pre-race music and enjoys Vermont cycling because "every ride is an adventure; you can never predict what you will encounter along the way."
Ted Hicks
Age: 46
Goals for the season: Do some of the early season road races since I've never done any of them, stay healthy and keep all my skin, and buy a new bike.
Favorite Otter creek beer flavor: Stovepipe Porter
Ted Hicks is arguably the most experienced on our team. The wiry climber began racing while living in the Washington DC area riding for the Squadra Coppi club. "Compared to the DC area, the summer weather in Vermont is so much nicer and Vermont has more and better climbs." Ted's soft-spoken, pleasant demeanor made him a must-have for this team, whose originally application included a "no jerks" clause.
Claude Raineault
Age: 45
Goals for the season: improve from last years results including a top five at New
Britain Criterium.
Favorite Otter creek beer flavor: Winter Ale
If you've been to the practice crit series in Essex Junction, VT, you've met Claude. The soft-spoken master of ceremonies is responsible for the fine collection of Tuesdays between May and August. Claude loves to ride and his affection for the sport is shared on this team. He marks Vermont cycling as a "short and intense season."
